1989 porsche targa

my buddy steve in seattle recently acquired this very nifty porsche 911 targa. he was gracious enough to let me take it for a spin and i must say there really is no substitute for pure analog manual controls… no power steering, no power brakes, no traction control, no BS… just good times behind the wheel. i snapped this shot on the way out of town of mr. lodefink piloting his craft whilst donning an Andy Capp hat and cool shades.

    And how about that 1970′s EMD GP38-2 locomotive in Burlington Northern Santa Fe’s heritage 1 paint scheme pulling those tankers? Nice catch.
